Ferdia Walsh-Peelo, an Irish actor and musician, was born on October 12, 1999, and is now 23 years old. He debuted on television in the History series Vikings (2017–2020) and in the musical Sing Street in 2016. Since then, he has acted in the movies CODA (2021) and Here Are the Young Men (2020).
At the age of seven, Walsh-Peelo started his musical career as a boy soprano and won numerous awards during his formative years. At the age of twelve, he was eventually cast on a tour of Ireland of Mozart’s Magic Flute. Following this, Walsh-Peelo played the role of Miles in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw. He performed piano and sang on Irish television’s renowned Late Late Toy Show in 2012. In the US, William Morris Endeavor signed him.
In the 2016 musical comedy-drama Sing Street directed by John Carney, Walsh-Peelo made his acting debut opposite Lucy Boynton. He and his co-star Mark McKenna gave a live performance while the movie was being screened at the Sundance Film Festival.
