The Netflix-exclusive series Drink Masters, which features amazing drinks and intense competition, is ready to upend things. To impress the judges and win a $100,000 reward, mixologists and bartenders from all over North America will compete in the reality show.

Bottoms up! Although the event’s concept may be comparable to a traditional cooking show, the results will be extraordinary, leaving both the audience and the judges dumbfounded. The program will be presented by the Blown Away creators, and Tone Bell, a comedian, actor, and producer best known for playing Scott Evans in The Flash, will serve as the host.

According to the description of the program:

Twelve of the most inventive mixologists in the world “infuse, swirl, and blend their way through a series of high-stakes cocktail challenges for the chance to win a life-changing prize and the title of The Ultimate Drink Master.”

Tone Bell is getting ready to host the upcoming season of the new mixology reality competition on Netflix. The 39-year-old comedian and actor have appeared in several TV shows and motion pictures, including Disjointed, in which he played a security guard for a cannabis dispensary.

Before going to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an actor and comedian, Tone Bell began his comedy career in Dallas. He won the Stand-up NBC Diversity talent contest, which led to him signing a contract with the network and making an appearance in People Are Talking.

Before deciding to work in the entertainment industry, he held positions with Swivel Media in San Francisco as an instructor and later as a brand manager. Later, he went back to work for a company in Atlanta before being transferred to Dallas, where he started turning his pastime into a job.

In a 2014 interview with Cliche Magazine, Tone talked about his employment and how, after moving to Dallas, he had to come up with ways to meet people without “looking odd.” He decided to try his luck at an open mic session since he thought it would be a fun way to meet new people.

Bill Cosby and Bill Burr were mentioned by Tone, a fan of vintage comedy, as his favorite comics. The King of Queens actor Kevin James was cited by the Drink Masters host as a big inspiration for his ability to blow a small idea out of proportion.

Before the premiere of Drink Masters, Tone and the judges appeared for a virtual interview with Bonnie Laufer where they discussed the next episode. Bonnie told Tone that since he hosts a show about people making drinks, he had “the best job in the world.” He declared:

Bell continued by saying that in addition to hosting the program, he also had the chance to sample drinks made by the best mixologists. He continued by saying that every episode allowed him to “consume greatness.”

The Drinks Masters host then responded to Bonnie’s inquiry by joking that he did get drunk at the end of each episode, but not as a result of the show. The tone continued by saying that he would consume a substantial breakfast each day and that failing to finish the exquisite cocktails that the mixologists would concoct was the most challenging part of the program.
